Following are some of the benefits of ordering from FabJob:

  • FabJob is recognized as a leading publisher of career and small business information. Our website, FabJob.com, was named "the #1 place to get published online" by Writer's Digest.
  • FabJob guides contain exceptionally high quality information about how to get started in a new career or business. (Several FabJob books are used as textbooks in college courses.)
  • All FabJob guides are professionally edited by English-speaking editors. As a result, FabJob guides are easy to understand and interesting to read.
  • Almost half a million customers have safely ordered from the FabJob.com website since 1999.
  • You can get FabJob guides immediately. FabJob has a fully automated ordering system which delivers e-books to customers within seconds of ordering.
  • When you order a guide from FabJob you can receive free updates. Plus, if you get a new computer, just contact us and we'll be happy to send you another guide -- at no cost to you.
  • You will find the most recent editions of FabJob guides at FabJob.com. (Other sites may be selling used or old editions.)
  • FabJob offers a money-back guarantee, unlike publishers whose "satisfaction guarantee" does not allow refunds for e-books. You can read our complete policy below.
Privacy Policy

We respect our customers' privacy. We do not share customer information with any other companies. Complete policy

Satisfaction Guarantee

At FabJob.com we stand behind all our products. We guarantee that you will be satisfied with the information contained in a guide or we will give you a refund within 30 days of purchase.

Our refund policy is as follows: If after reading all of a guide you decide within 30 days of purchase that you are not satisfied with the information contained in the guide, we will give you a full refund on the purchase price of the guide according to the terms of this policy.

To receive a full refund the buyer must complete a short questionnaire about why they are not satisfied with the content of the guide and return it to FabJob.com within 30 days of purchase.

If a buyer does not wish to complete the questionnaire or if a refund is requested for any reason except dissatisfaction with the guide's content (e.g. buyer changes mind, buyer of an e-book says they thought they were buying a paper book, buyer's email does not have enough space but buyer is not willing to open a free email account to receive the guide, etc.), a service charge of $5.00 will be deducted from the refund to cover our costs of processing the order and the refund.

CD-ROMs and print books should be returned by regular mail in resaleable condition to our Calgary address (167 Midland Place S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2X 1N1). Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If a return is made by any means except regular mail it may take longer for a refund if it requires staff to process additional paperwork. If a return is made to any FabJob address other than our Calgary address there will be forwarding charges incurred. Any charges incurred by FabJob.com to receive the item, and/or to forward the item to our Calgary office, will be deducted from the amount of the refund.

To prevent fraud or theft, refunds will only be made to the credit card used for the original purchase, and a customer may not receive a refund on more than one guide. In no circumstances will FabJob.com be liable for refunding more than the price of the guide. In no circumstances will FabJob.com pay a refund more than 30 days after the purchase date.

NOTE: The policy above applies only to purchases made by individual customers. If you are purchasing FabJob guides for a retailer, library, or educational institution, please note that discounted bulk orders are non-refundable.

Chargeback Policy

We are grateful that fraudulent chargebacks are rare, but we take this issue seriously. Anyone who orders a product then attempts to do a chargeback ceases to be a customer of FabJob.com. Fraudulent chargebacks may be turned over to a law enforcement or collection agency.

Pricing Policy

Because more than 90% of our customers are American, all prices are in U.S. dollars.

Our goal is to produce products customers judge as being worth more than they cost. Most newly published guides initially sell for $39.95 and then are reduced in price at FabJob.com to encourage more customers to purchase the guide.

We may decide on a daily basis the price we will offer a guide for the next day. Whenever we begin a special offer or continue it for another day we alert customers that the price is guaranteed for that day.

We expect to continue offering our guides for a lower cost than they are worth as long as this policy allows us to reach a wider audience with our valuable information.

Please note that discounts offered at our website do not apply to FabJob guides sold through retailers such as Barnes & Noble which typically offer FabJob books for a suggested retail price of $49.95 U.S.

The price you see advertised at our website is the entire amount we charge. Since the economic downturn in 2008, we've heard that a few companies that issue credit cards and debit cards have started charging service charges of a few cents to their customers for some online orders (e.g. one customer told us her credit card company charged her an extra 28 cents). If that happens to you, please contact the company that issued your credit card or debit card.

Shipments Outside the U.S.

Print book orders being delivered to an address outside the United States may be assessed custom charges and/or import duties once the order reaches your country. Customers are responsible for all customs charges or import duties associated with their orders.

FabJob does not charge, collect nor pay duty or customs charges for print book orders shipped outside the United States. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be. As customs charges vary widely from country to country, please contact your local customs office or postal authority for further information regarding shipments from the United States to your country.
